Far be it from me to pipe up against yachting excess, but this in-build 262’ Heesen is pushing even my limits. The owner wants a hot-rod megayacht, capable of 30 knots. To propel this massive yacht at those speeds, it will be fitted with FOUR huge MTU diesels totaling 19,000 hp. I can’t wrap my head around the fuel usage for this massive yacht at 30 knots – the gph at that speed will be insane.
